Orion is a chemical and engineering company founded in 2015 to produce heat treatment and nitriding salts in our country. Orion Heat Treatment salts are produced in Istanbul and serve many domestic and international companies.
Orion was founded by Metallurgical Engineer Aziz Göknil, bringing years of international expertise, alongside Chemists Dr. Mehmet Nuri Kütükçü and Alper Çelik, experts in indigenous chemical production.
In 2024, with Aziz Göknil moving to the status of Consultant and transferring his shares to Mehmet Nuri Kütükçü and Alper Çelik, the company management passed to Mehmet Nuri Kütükçü and Alper Çelik. It carries out its production in its facility in Istanbul and offers comprehensive services such as analysis, technical service, and on-site installation/commissioning to its customers. It is possible to perform nitriding processes in accordance with international SAE AMS-2753C standards with salts produced by Orion.
We are a company producing local and national nitriding salts in Istanbul, used in the hardening processes (nitriding) of aluminum extrusion press molds and heat treatment processes. We are among the few companies that can provide nitriding salt production and technical support across a wide geography from Europe to China.
Our company not only produces nitriding salts but also offers professional solutions in the installation of turnkey nitriding and oxidation facilities. We provide all the necessary equipment, technical infrastructure, process consultancy, and application support for nitriding facility installation under one roof.

Holds a BS from Koç University, MS from Georgia Tech, and PhD from ITU within the field of Chemistry. Led the production of innovative chemicals at Pavezyum Kimya.
In addition to managing the R&D studies of Orion Heats, he served as a technical consultant for Ado Mining and as the manager responsible for chemistry at the UK-based Epoch Wires Ltd.

Graduated from Karadeniz Technical University, Dept. of Chemistry. Began as Production Supervisor at Nil Çelik A.Ş.
Has extensive management experience in R&D and industrial production of high-value chemicals at Pavezyum Kimya (since 2008). Serving as Company Manager at Orion Isı since its founding in 2014.
